r2p announces a new order from T-movil Chile for supplying a tracking system with the add-on of an eco-performance tool.

Sustainable fleet management for bus, transport and logistic fleets will save operators money as well as fuel, thus reducing emissions. r2p’s tracking and eco-performance solutions provide insights into driver behaviour patterns and potentials for improving the performance.

With the new order of T-movil, r2p will supply equipment for 583 trucks, which are going to be operated by STS logistics all over Chile. The project will start in mid-2018 and will include a full tracking and eco-performance solution for fuel control. The project also covers the implementation of a solution for temperature monitoring in the trailers.

The cooperation between T-movil and r2p has started with a first project in 2016 and has since then been growing constantly. Ricardo Marcon, r2p’s Commercial Manager for Latin America, says: “We are very happy that we are able to bring reliable solutions to improve transportation in Chile, both reducing CO2 emissions and operational costs by providing the management with the driver behaviour patterns. This way our clients can see where they have possibilities to improve.”
